MORE Members Gayle, Nick and Alicia Wilson invite members and their guests to return to their property in the woods of Lunenburg County, just off Hwy 325, in between the towns of Mahone Bay and Bridgewater and not far from Lunenburg town. Rover owners and keeners throughout the Maritimes, New England, points west and internationally are welcome to participate in the organized off-roading and to camp, socialize, eat, relax and take in some of the local sites. For those interested in attending, further details below:


There are trails in the general area to cater to a variety of skills and preferences for some scheduled offroading. Guests are invited to participate with their own vehicles or to hitch a ride with some of the other drivers.
For those who just want to come along for the ride on the weekend and not off road, there are a number of points of interest in the area worth checking out including: The towns of Mahone Bay and Lunenburg with their beautiful sea front areas. Lunenburg is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
There are numerous whale watching and other sight seeing tour boats with regular departures from both towns. You might even spot the famous Bluenose II in port.
MORE member Patrick South operates kayak rentals from Mahone or check out the Bay Railway Museum in Lunenburg Oak Island, in between Mahone Bay and Chester, occasionally features tours for those wanting to learn about the islandís famed hidden treasures.
The Ovens - Ovens Natural Park is a privately owned 190 acre pristine reserve of coastal forest, located on the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia, along the scenic Lighthouse Route. Hike the spectacular trails along the cliffs to view the famous sea caves, or "Ovens" for which the park was named.
Lots of antique shops and flea markets.


This year attandees will get dinner Friday and Saturday and breakfast Saturday and Sunday. There will be opportunities to get lunches for the both days. To keep arrangements as easy as possible for all concerned, meal options will be simple and attendees are asked to pitch in and help with the serving and any barbequing, clean ups etc. MORE members who can spare a bit of time in advance to help with the catering arrangements are being asked to contact Gerald Ruderman Meals will reflect the MORE membersí effort put into them!

Members are welcome to camp on the Wilsonsí property. Tents can be pitched amongst the apple trees and fields fringed by towering evergreens and maple trees. Trailers can also be accommodated. There will be toilets and showers.
