Testing waters....
« on: April 06, 2007, 09:00:28 PM »
Looking to see if there is any interest in this. I'm so used to driving the Lincoln, that I want a luxury car again.

1994 Mazda Protege SE
4dr
4cyl, 5spd
133,500 (most are highway from Kingston to Kentville)
MVI until the end of Feb. 08
38.5 MPG!!! (beats the 10 +/- in the old Town Car)

Any interest?? Trades??
Just seeing what anyone on here thinks before I go buy a BMW

Thanks again
Thomas

Asking $1600.

The Rover still sits in my shop. The electrical is the biggest battle, as someone else has already fooled around with this trucks wires before. We are getting closer though. We have tail lights, brake lights, and the occasional rear signal light. I have to order my new tires, put 2 more small patches on the frame, get the windsheild fixed, and do the brakes... then shes ready for an MVI (I hope). Shes been on a tight budget, so some parts are not Rover at the moment, but in a few years I paln to do a complete frame offf restoration of the truck, so as long as they work, I don't care what they look like for now. LOL you'll see what I'm talking about at the MOOSE next month.

Where would I get some parts to do a brake job on her?

Con  should have brake parts like shoes, wheel cylinders Etc,

If not then Rovers North in the US or Paddocks, Dingocroft in the UK.

Good to hear work is progressing, I am not sure if I will be at the moose
