WTB: Rebuildable 2.25 Petrol Engine, and a pair of Disco axles
« on: October 23, 2014, 01:21:29 AM »
Hi folks.

I'm looking to build up a utilitarian farm/local road truck out of spares I have here - not a highly modified or highly pretty truck this time - just useful.  The only significant mod could be axles, as I am partial to the wider 24 spline axles with big brakes.  I have most of what I need except:

-A 2.25 3MB (or two) for rebuild, or any other interesting Rover 4-cyl rebuild candidate like a 2.5D, 2.25 5MB, TDI, or whatever..

-Perhaps 24-spline axles from a DI or RR for the aforementioned mod - if I can find a pair at a good price.

If you're looking to part with such things, let me know.

Hope everyone is well!

Thanks! Dave

HI Dave

I will be scrapping at least 3 D1,s this spring .I also have the disco chassis I got from you as well.

I do not have any engines other than 3.5 V 8 and 3.9 fuel injected ones (can be converted to Carb if you wish .
