Wanted / Series lll windshield frame and door top needed
« Last post by Cchase on October 03, 2020, 10:02:50 PM »
Hey folks,

I am looking for a window frame for a Series lll. I have the glass, just need the frame.

Also looking for a Right side door top with windows.

And while I'm at it, could also use a right side wing and door bottom.

Thanks,
Colin

General / New Forum/Site Admin Wanted
« Last post by Todd Jackson on October 03, 2020, 09:20:18 AM »
Hej guys/gals
I'm looking for a person who is willing to take over as the forum/site new administrator.
As time has passed I don't visit the forum as I much as I should be, it deserves a person that does. I've set up the site and forum so that it runs itself so it's far from being a demanding job.

If your interested send me a PM, so that we can get the ball rolling for a change over of positions.

Many thanks,
Todd.

Just don't make the mistake of telling Haggerty that you take your Rover off road. They refused to insure mine on that basis.

Had the same problem with a different company. I'd been with them for 12-14 years or so at that point and they refused to cover the LR because it would be taken off pavement... but then were surprised when I took all my business elsewhere!

Well because of the usage limitations antique plates are under I want to be free to use my landy whenever I want ..so I compromised....got the nice fully comp cheap antique insurane from hagertys who don't care what side the steering is on ...or how much you drive it.  Plus guaranteed insured sum.payout plus you get the bits back if you want to rebuild.....and the regular blue firefighter plate I already had.....got my 1986 full size Cadillac and land rover fully comp cover ....600 all on same policy. Fairway wanted to charge 1100 bucks plpd just for the landrover .  I have told them what I think of them..   oh and incase anyone's.interested.....i got my perm residence through and am looking at bringing across my 1961 LWB and cook trailer project......it's happening....slowly....but it's happening !
