Action on the Series I

Very excited to report that there has been some action on the Series I project. Peter brought the bulkhead up to Kris Lockhart this week for some adjustments in prep for painting it and the breakfast. They had the bulkhead back down at the house last night to do some fitting, and suddenly I'm being asked to come out to the garage to see the tub, bulkhead, seat box and doors all being set in place. It actually looks like a truck at the moment, very exciting. Now we just have to pick a paint colour, we were set on tan like Ben's, but now we are wavering a bit. Maybe by next Labour Day I'll have a Series I.

I may wear dresses a lot in the summer, but I'm not really a pink wearing or driving sort of girl. Thank you for the suggestion though.

I have a 55 107 here that is complete for parts if you need any .I just want the body. The chassis is very good and the truck still runs and drived .Everything is also date coded including the radiator.

Good to see there's some forward progress with the 80". You'll be driving it in no time.

Pink only goes well on Land Rovers if they also have at least two mounted machine guns and a lot of long range desert kit.
