Old Car Show - Thursday August 19

Hey guys,

Every Thursday in the summer, people gather by the A&W in the Woodside ferry terminal parking lot with old cars. Each year they have one night where they try to get as many cars as possible. I think their record is 1800 or 1900 cars and is the North American record for the most cars gathered on a week night. It is mostly American classics, although there are usually a few British cars in the mix.

This Thursday is their big night, and I'm planning on checking it out. There is no admission charge. Anyone interested in tagging along?

I think some people start gathering around four (they have to wait for paying commuters to leave) and most cars start rolling in closer to five or five thirty.  I'll probably head over around then or six. Probably have to park over by the Value Village store (old Moirs).

I work till five tomorrow so I'll be there just after 5:30.

I've never seen so many classics in one spot! lots of variety, though mostly american.. some british, european, japanese, and two canadian vehicles.

Niall, loved the Celtic Corner, great spot! They were sold out of the Trinity Steak Boxty, but I thought the Fish 'n Chips were above par!
