Yup, free.
I bought two rubbish 109's last year in Ontario, near Cornwall and eventually brought one home. I paid $1500 each for the trucks and it cost me about $2000 to get the first one home. There's no way either is worth their actual cost to me and I've not been prudent about collecting the second. The owner of the property where the truck is stored is completely fed up and the truck is to be scrapped shortly. If you're interrested you MUST be able and willing to collect it very soon. Not running, no title, shot frame, no pictures. I am NOT willing to discuss, assist, negotiate or be involved in any way. Other that putting the "winning" IE most likely to perform candidate in touch with the landowner.
Have fun, make a video....
Peter

Pete:
I think that I'm interested. I can always store now and work on it over time, work towards getting a title. How much work to collect??

Yer nuts, Here's a step by step guide to the process.
Truck is headed to scrapyard Friday. I can probably get him to hang on until next week. Just last week I booked a trip to recover it in September. Got an email today that he's scrapping it on Friday. Peter

Some pre-cautions are required in moving a "rubbish" Land Rover.
I once had an old tire go flat under chain binder load/tension over an axle, causing the dead Land Rover to shift on the trailer. Once this was sorted by letting all the air out of the tires and reloading the binders, another issue came up as bits of frame rot etc. fell off out into traffic. opps
everything ended well that day but it could have been otherwise. -d.

Absoloutly, hauling rotton old rovers great distances is expensive and fraught with problems.

My mistake Pete - I'm not that nuts, I thought that it was the truck that you brought home last year. I'm not interested in going to Ontario to pick up a rusty paperless rover. Maybe in the future, we can talk about the other one, if you still have it. Probably best not now anyway, my garage is still at least two years away. Finish the house, then the garage, then get another rover........unless something great pops up, like a nice litte 110 or 130 for Becky, she can drive that and I'll get another IIa 109. Cheers.

It looks like this story may have resolved itself.
I'll honour anyone's interrest in the FREE truck until tomorrow noon. Aug 11.
Otherwise a soloution has revealed itself. Interesting story. To be told around the campfire at Labour Day....
Cheers
