Isabelle and I are staying home today through most of Saturday while Earl passes by. I'll spend the night and Saturday-until the storm passes-on board our boat anchored in more protected waters at the head of St Margaret's Bay. If the storm passes without incident and I'm not too tired, we may head for Isle Madame Saturday afternoon, but I'm not optimistic. Sorry that we will miss all the real fun. Well, it's time for me to go for a little sail now.
Stephen

We're not going to get there. Been tidying up ready for our noble visitor (Earl). Have a great time - I'm really sorry to miss it. BenP

OK we're at the pub in Port Hawksbury. Ran in to Niall at the NSLC.
Chad screamed by us uphill towing the Airstream. He was driving a Jeep though. Chad, you could go even faster if you folded up the steps!
Forgot the party tent in Riverport so we've bought two so far on the road.
See you all soon.
Sorry to hear you won't make it Ben.
Cheers

Not going to make it tonight so looks like we are stuck until Earl passes tomorrow. All being well we will see you all tomorrow night. We will be bringing our new (very old) trailer so it will be slow run up.
Have fun tomorrow.
Andrew, Sheri and the boys.

Had a wonderful weekend!!! Lots of excitement balanced with equal amounts of relaxation, chowder, and desserts! Thanks to all those involved in the making of the event, particularly Chad and Tania!
I'll see what I can do to get a few pics and maybe a certain video posted tonight.

Great weekend even with Earl cutting off electricity for a while. The water spray was great. Another trip to the car wash should remove all the salt. So many pictures I want to get. Tristan, Tania make those pictures in all their glory available somewhere.
Thanks to Tania, Chad and their families for making it possible.

Got home a few hours ago, had time for a quick nap before hitting Paddy's Pub for dinner with Gerald. What a weekend, exciting weather, epic food, great company, off roading as it was meant to be, traditional music, and of course integrated lighting. Congratulations to Tania and Chad for a job well done, under very interesting circumstances (thanks Earl), and to their families, you are lucky to have them.
I managed to get Kristina to download her pictures to my computer before leaving this afternoon. Here is one of the view from the Labour Day home base 2010. More to come once I've caught up on my sleep, and stay tuned for the official announcement about Labour Day 2011.

Thank you Chad, Tania and Family for putting on this event. Great job handling all the problems Earl created.
Abby and I really enjoyed ourselves.
Hope everyone had a safe trip home. I'm hoping I'll have some of my pictures posted soon.

We want to thank everyone for the warm welcome we received on the weekend.
Chad and Tania were fantastic hosts and you couldn't ask for a friendlier group of people.
The boy's had a truely unique experience and William's been on kijiji looking for series Rovers, I think he's been infected.
Thanks,
Greg, Bettina, Thomas and William
