Rosie just emailed me to say she is almost done the baking for Labour Day.  She included these three photos, appropriately named the good, the bad and the ugly.  Note the pile of cabinet doors in the corner of photo number one, Rosie just repainted the kitchen two days ago, and hadn't quite gotten it back together by the time baking had to begin.  The other unfortunate thing (see photo number two) is the temperature, ouch.  I'm not even going to comment on photo number three, if I was even remotely housework oriented I would feel compelled to go help clean up, luckily I'm not Smiley

Rosie, you are truly dedicated to bake in such weather. I am in awe. You can ride in our air conditioned Range Rover any time.

Dave Power, just got your phone message. I am leaving home in the Vw at 8:15am, picking up Rosie and the baking in Windsor and be on highway by 9am. Peter (my Peter) is going to stay at home until Earl passes, so he hopes to hit the road on Saturday afternoon.

If you plan to leave around that time we could always convoy.

Julie, I may gum up the works.
I'm riding with Dave but have a 9:00 meeting downtown halifax.
It won't be more than an hour but I can't see us getting away for a bit after that.

Cheers

We arrived at the bakery just moments ago, just as Tania, Rhonda and Emma were leaving with cookies in hand. We are waiting for the calzones to come out of the oven. They have one with steak and cheese this year. Julie

Still at work... Hoping to get on the road around 3 or 4. So I will have a late arrival in CB. Someone save me a good camp site please.

Thanks,

I'm hoping to leave Timberlea shortly. I'll be in convoy with my brother Tristan, who is bringing his Mini up.... though I dont think it will be joining us on the trails due to some clearance issues.

We have arrived on site. Warm, beautiful views, cabins are great. Tania and family are gearing up food. The baked good have been unpacked. Nap time.
