Annual Labour Day Rally.
Isle Madame, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia
September 3 - 6, 2009
This years MORE Labour Day Rally will encompass two days of various degrees of off-roading on Isle Madame. Base camp will be located on the southern side of Arichat, one of the oldest communities in all Nova Scotia. Arichat was established in 1713, saw rapid economic growth and in 1801 became an international trading port. Arichat is home to some of the prettiest scenery along the Fleur-de-Lis trail and offers a rocky coastline, inlets and coves. Arichat is home to beautiful beaches and the LeNoir Forge Museum, a restored 18th century French stone blacksmith shop.
The event includes great prizes from numerous sponsors and a social atmosphere that is suitable for all ages. There is never a shortage of stories but new ones are always welcome at the campfire or under canvas when taking shelter from the rain.
