HI everyone

Im taking a poll of interested members that woud llike to have series front disc brake conversions done .

I working on some angles for this conversion and was wondering if anyone would like a copy.

The prices would be very reasonable and a parts list would also be provided so you can go to your local parts supplyer to pick up the rest of the parts needed .

If i can generate enough interest i can have the brackets manufactured for  much less  cost.

Let me know

I'm interested. I've had my brakes apart more than a few times  over the past few years. I can never seem to track down that bleeping squeal  . Maybe a set of disc brakes will take care of it. The added stopping power wouldn't hurt either

It wont be possible to keep it in the :land rover famil;y" sorry

The conversion requires bigger rotor centers than the Land Rover ones .

Im currently waiting for the sample parts toarrive and see just what is needed to convert a series truck.

Ill let you all know very very soon

Crap.IMHO GM stuff is not much better than 1950's LR stuff....LOL.

I'm still interested.I do a lot of miles on my LR and I send a lot of time adjusting brakes, replacing brakes.....disc/calipers should speed up servicing and extend the life of them.

I am interested, too. Having improved braking would be most welcome. Even with new shoes, wheel cylinders, lines, etc., slowing down and stopping (except when going up hill, of course) is still stressful and takes more leg/foot power than I would like and more time/distance than I would prefer.  One of my reservations is cost. Not that I expect the amount will be inappropriate, but it has to be measured, in my case at least, against my ability to pay. So count me as interested, but not committed.
