I stopped and looked at a 1964 Volvo Lap Lander cab over truck today. Appears to be all there. requires complete rebuild. Last on the road in 1991. Located Colchester Co. at Winston Black Auto Sales.  said he would sell it for $800.00

looks like dual stromburgs? Pics to follow.

That's amazing, I was looking yesterday for a Laplander, searched all of Ebay, in the UK, in Germany, France etc, and hadn't found any!

There was a Laplander in Kingston, just down from Johns many years ago. He wouldn't sell it though. It was an ex-Nova Scotia Power vehicle, and it was really cool. It had a full box on the back, open the back door and there was a bad-ass winch mounted inside, PTO driven, as well as on either side between front and rear wheel there was a lid-door with a winch inside, and a winch on the front behind the front A-bar.....4 winches!!

I have several of the SU carbs in boxes of junk... They were great when running, easy to maintain.

The C303 do have portals, the C3314 pictured above don't but are still one capable off roader.

This would be a cool vehicle to pick up. The first pickup I've seen.

There's a full top one kick around Saint John but I don't think the guy wants to sell it.

DavE;

Saw you cruising along the 103 on Thursday Am around 9:30am, looked like a man (sitting on the wrong side) and a Rover on a mission. SmileySmileySmiley
