I think I'm almost ready for the Moose.

I'm hoping to make it to Riverport Thursday evening, spend a few hours Friday working at Cape St Mary, and then heading up to the Moose in the afternoon. Looks like I'll have to head home Sunday afternoon as I'm due to go offshore 5am Tuesday morning.
Jobs done so far:
Front main seal is done and no longer leaks like a sieve. Will have to see how long it lasts.
New waterpump, and all new radiator hoses. I even had to change the short piece of heater hose that comes off the thermostat housing as that was leaking too.
Alternator connections have been wire brushed as well as the battery as both were showing signs of heavy corrosion.
Engine oil and spin-on oil filter changed. (Oil filter would not spin-off so had to use a destructive and very messy method of removal!)
Oil bath air filter refitted after draining the mud-oil mix. Oil was a complete emulsion of oil and water, and I found 1/4 mud in the bottom!
Cleaned out the condensation from the rocker cover and engine breather system, and adjusted the tappets.
Jobs for tonight:
Move all my tools from the front wings back to the tool box.
Check transmission oil levels.
Refit the bonnet and hook up anything still left loose.
And if time refit the capstan winch and drive shaft. This isn't going to be straight forward as I have several galled bolts in spinning rivet nuts to deal with.
I also have an exhaust leak at the blanking plate on top of the exhaust manifold (Running Twin choke webber on Pierce Intake), and the muffler is about to drop off again.
Can I use JB-weld on the exhaust manifold or will it just burn off?
