Had an awesome time this weekend. It was great to get back to Maine. Was sorry to have to head home Sunday morning and didn't get to visit with as many people as I had hoped. There were also many who were missed by those of us who were there.

Thanks to Bruce for a fantastic event that has grown to a point where I can tell it takes a lot of planning and time. Also thanks to Gerald for the ride on Saturday.

Hopefully next year I can break tradition and take a Land Rover.

Here's a quote I found on Guns&Rovers

Quote
you guys were brave trying out the powerline climb and the swamp leading up to it after i told you i was out there from 12 a.m. till 5 a.m. that morning. The first disco got stuck, and Justin from Lucky 8 bent his rear bumper/frame pulling him out. A second disco then slide into the same hole and got buried up to its doors, its arb bumper almost got pulled off, and its frame bent, in the process of extracting it that night. Glad you guys made it out without any serious structural damage like they suffered.

Sounds like someone had an interesting night!

My cheesy Romp video. This icehole had Bill C stopped in his tracks and gave him a flat. After that drama Chad in the diesel RRC showed us all how to do it.

... the crowd running for cover...

Was my co-driver I guess...    That was cool seeing you guys drive through it after my exquisite-fail-attempt...

BTW, great song... What is it?  Sounds a bit like The Misfits...

hey lucky

You and Bill C. did the hard work of breaking it up enough for us to get through. The song is "Did you Wanna Die" by Youth Brigade. Dave, great video, glad you got some footage of me going through after all that Smiley
