April Fools Day, we could have fun with that!  Try a local Robin's Donuts?

I game for anything. There are many good pubs in Halifax. Even a Bistro would suit me. Any suggestions Shawn/Jim?

I was only thinking of lots of parking, available at all times of year ( TOURIST TIME)  good access to people coming from all directions as well as various foods.  jim

I thought Tims was the default, and those who want go to a pub restaurant before.

Are we boycotting Tims because of the roll up the rim issue ??????????? I think that would be wrong

You fellows are taking this Tim's thing all too seriously. There's an article in todays paper and Tim saids " the company has identified a minor manufacturing issue and all major prizes are on track and this minor issue has not impacked the odds of winning a prize." So there!
See you all Tuesday night were ever.

Who would ever want to get between anyone and their coffee?

I thought Tims was the default, and those who want go to a pub restaurant before.

I still think this is the best setup. A Tims is cheap, you can loiter pretty much as long as you want, and people can get a drink, some food, or nothing. Having a pub or a restaurant as the main meeting point means that it is easy to overstay our welcome, makes it more expensive, and I think less accessible to a lot of people.
It is nice to go to a pub beforehand, but I think it is best to keep that as an optional pre-meeting venue. Just my two cents.

And Dave, I saw that article, I'm not buying it LOL

You're right, Shawn.  The only Land Rover mag I subscribe to is the Series I Club's "The Legend".  Nearly all their local meetings around UK start (and probably end) at a pub...

Yeah, but their membership probably comes from within three blocks.

You and Pete would probably be in different clubs and have different local pubs, given how from you live from each other
